Casey Close is an American former baseball player and sports agent who was selected as Michigan's Team Captain and won the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year, the Baseball America National Player of the Year, and Big Ten Model of Honor. He was also enlisted on Forbes 2019 Sports Agents Commissions. He is currently working for Excel Sports Management.

Casey completed his high school form Worthington High School. After that, he graduated from the University of Michigan.
The 56 years old player began to play for the Michigan Wolverines baseball in 1983 while he was in the University of Michigan. He was in the team and played collegiate summer baseball for Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
In 1986, he won the batting triple crown in the Big Ten Conference. The same year, he won the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year, the Baseball America National Player of the Yera, and Big Ten Medal of Honor.
