When she started getting older and mature, she came to know that everything that her mother was doing was very wrong. Even she used to escape from that, her mother used to beat her and chain her up on the bed.

Later on, Gypsy found someone; she could escape online from her miseries. She had met her future boyfriend, 23-year-old Nick Godejohn

After she told everything about her mother, the pair started making plans to her murder her, and, in 2015, they did it and fled to Nick's house.

In July 2015, she was sentenced to jail on convictions of second-degree murder after she admitted to her murdering her mother.

Two years later, HBO made a documentary about her life, Mommy Dead and Dearest. This brought fame to Gypsy and even a chance to talk on Dr. Phil. Two years after that, her life was again put on a miniseries by Hulu, The Act

Why Her Mother Did All This?
